Representation in the Land and Environment Court of NSW Glenn has been involved in appeals and mediations in the Land and Environment Court for 20 years. Glenn has prepared and given evidence to the Court on matters including: - All forms of residential development including residential flat buildings, multi dwelling housing, group homes and boarding houses - A wide range of commercial development from shopping centres to small scale neighbourhood facilities - A wide range of industrial development - Waste and resource management facilities - Quarrying activities - Telecommunications facilities - Subdivision 2. Preparation of submissions and objections Glenn can prepare pragmatic submissions and objections on behalf of residents to put their concerns in the context of the relevant planning controls. Glenn can formulate sound reasons as to why a proposal should be either refused or amended. Glenn can also present these submissions at Council meetings. 3. Development assessment and preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects With over 25 years in development assessment in local government, Glenn can provide detailed advice and assessment on a wide range of small and large developments. Glenn can also advise on the compliance and merits of a proposed development. Glenn can also prepare supporting reports such as Statements of Environmental Effects and variations to development standards (known as Clause 4.6 variations). Glenn has access to a range of related experts in traffic, acoustics, ecology, bushfire and urban design should a proposal require reports from other disciplines. 4. General planning advice and services We can provide a wide range of planning advice and services including: - The validity and meaning of conditions placed on a development consent; - The development potential of property; - Existing use rights; - Consultation with local and state government authorities; - Assisting in resolving unauthorised building work and land use; and - Review and advise in relation to orders and notices.
